Why did ice tea get removed from the cafeteria?
From: William
Dear William,
Thank you for your question! I’m sure many people have the same question: after all, ice tea was one of the most popular drinks from the cafeteria.
Ironically, it seems as if ice tea’s popularity was the reason of its disappearance. I asked one of the ladies who works at Delimarché, and she explained that ice tea was removed to introduce new drinks: namely, the fruit and Oatly smoothie. Since ice tea was so popular that people did not want to buy anything else, it was removed so that people would try the smoothie.
Was the tradeoff worth it? I think it depends on who you ask.
Yours, Askolotl
