Why are buses dropping us off at the back gate in the mornings?

You’re certainly not the only one with this question.

At the beginning of the school year, if you were to go to the main entrance, you would’ve noticed a section of the road roped off due to construction. Initially, the change in the student drop-off location was made to accommodate this, and was simply temporary. However, the staff and faculty soon realized that by moving the route, a previous safety concern was addressed; students, once having gotten off the buses, would no longer need to navigate across multiple lanes of ‘traffic’. Buses enter in single file through gate 4, and students are able to follow the signage to directly enter the building— no need for frantic gesturing by school staff. 

Put in simple terms, entering through the back gate reduces the potential of injury (plus, it’s much less stressful).
